I’ve been a loyal customer of VPS6.NET for over a year now.
Contrary to what you hear online, VPS6.NET is a very reliable and quality company. Their servers are powerful, their pricing is great and the support is awesome when you require it. I think a lot of customers who had a “bad experience” with VPS6.NET are either spammers, scammers, or just have an unreasonable expectation about what an unmanaged VPS hosting company is supposed to do.
First, my account was instantly activated once my payment cleared which provided me with my login details very quickly. This is awesome and every VPS hosting company should have instant activation! Most orders that are not instantly activated are pending, mainly because of a technical issue related to VPS stock or their order status such as possibly being fraudulent due to a Maxmind error. Most folks who scream THIS WASN’T INSTANTLY ACTIVATED!! SCAM!!! usually fall into the category of there was not enough stock or the order status came up as fraud/suspicious!
If you’ve worked in the hosting industry as long as I have, you will notice that the scam/spam screamers are usually the fraudulent/suspicious order folks.. usually for good reason.
Second, the POWERUP coupon which gives me 2 additional CPU cores or an additional 1TB of bandwidth is great! Since I am running a cPanel DNS Only server, I will choose the 2 additional CPU cores to give me more processing power since bandwidth is dirt cheap and processing power will always cost more.
Third, the Frankfurt location in Germany is great for VPS hosting. Frankfurt is one of the most reliable, most wired cities in Germany and there is more than enough bandwidth at this facility for anyone requiring central Europe VPS hosting or specifically in Germany itself.
The Frankfurt facility has connectivity with TeliaSonera, DE-CIX, Cogent Communications, Deutsche Telekom, Tata Communications and Level3 giving it optimal US and European network carriers.
The VPS node has Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5645 @ 2.40GHz processors with 12mb of cache size, which is great compared to some hosting providers who only have 2, 4 or 8mb of cache size for their processors.

Very reliable benchmarks, if you ask me!
The uptime is relatively new, with the server just ordered over the weekend, so tune in for more updates from my ongoing VPS6.NET review of their German OpenVZ virtual private servers.
